Fillets embellish frames and mats for a classic framing look
Fillets are small decorative strips of wood placed along the edge of a frame or mat.
The strips are usually gold, silver or wood toned. They are often textured to add richness to the framing.
Contemporary Art Frames has a large selection of fillets that will enhance your framing. The photograph on the right has a 3/4 inch silver fillet inside a black matte frame to help soften the transition from frame to photograph.
